Please stop the illegal killing of animals

For all of you who feel the need to shoot at everything that happens to walk by your property or have the audacity to walk on your property, just stop it!

We live in one of the most beautiful areas in the world. Most of us moved here to be around this beauty and to be around God’s gift to us — the animals, bears, birds, raccoons, the deer, the moose and, yes, even the skunks; you get the idea. We all chose to live here and these animals welcomed us to their home without shooting at us.

Look folks, if you knew what was looking at you every day through those tress you live by some of you would pooh yourself! We have some folks right around us that feel the need to shoot at everything that moves. Sorry to say Idaho law is not strong enough to stop them.

My family happens to live in an area that has a lot of bears, deer, raccoons and so on. We love it, but some folks shoot at everything that walks on their property — either they hate all animals or are “stuck on stupid.”

Either way you should move back to the city you came from or learn how to live with these beautiful animals.

And before all you hunters jump on me, I have no problem with legal hunting! I just have a problem with folks who shoot animals to be cruel, because they happen to walk on your property, got in the trash you left out, or because it makes you feel good about your miserable life, whatever the reason “Please stop the killing!!”
