Habitat for Humanity building new home

| June 3, 2012 7:00 AM

Dear supporters of Habitat for Humanity,

The Idaho Panhandle Habitat for Humanity is at it again! We are just beginning to build another affordable home for a responsible low-income family. Believe it or not, this will be the fifteenth home we will be fortunate enough to complete. Our affiliate is not flashy, but we are very steady. Every year we have dedicated a home with volunteer labor, donated materials and heaps of love. Without you, our amazing community, we wouldn’t be able to say this.

This home is located on our 15 lot development, Schissler Meadows. This development was named after one of our founding members, Mike Schissler. Mike passed away over eleven years ago, but his memory will live on as we build these homes. Every facet of our home building program is volunteer (no paid positions).

During the past few years, we have received a number of gifts from estates of Habitat supporters. We ask that you consider including our affiliate as part of your future estate planning.

WE NEED HELP! Funds for building materials and land come from our supporters like you. Your gift of $20, $50, $100 or more will help accomplish miracles for a deserving family. Your gift gives the children of each Habitat family a safe and secure home for each child to come to every day. Also, we have the ability to receive donations by credit card via Pay Pal on our website, iphfh.org or just click on the Donate tab.

This is not a giveaway program, but one that each homeowner has to pay for. Please assist us to make our fifteenth home a reality.
