Luna gripes off the mark

| June 17, 2012 7:00 AM

We now know that Idaho’s State Superintendent of Public Instruction is not a professional educator nor has he ever taught in a public school. Obviously, Tom Luna is unqualified for the position he holds according to union spokesmen.

This terrible situation seems to be rife throughout industry, business and government not just confined to Idaho. Shamefully, I found no medical doctor running a major hospital. It appears that none of the chief executive officers of a major airline has ever been an airline pilot. I plan on checking power companies to see if their top administrators started as electricians.

The fact that the unions and their sympathizers are screaming their obloquy at Tom Luna is an indication of how desperate they have become.
