Barack Obama should study Bush's humility

Barak Obama should study Bush’s humility. His incessant lecturing of the American people for their downfalls and trumpeting his own triumphs is more than I can endure. The chest pounding for the killing of Bin Laden seems neverending.

“I directed the CIA to …I met repeatedly with national security … I determined we had enough intelligence … I authorized an operation to get Osama..”

How about “we” in a collective effort with our intelligence and our brave fighting men took this terrorist down. When Bush took down Saddam he made sure to give credit to the real heroes.

Every time this man talks it’s “I am going to do this … or my policy is going to be…”He attacks successful people who worked hard all their lives as the greedy, and demonizes anyone in his path who might have a different idea. He doesn’t even listen to bi-partisan congressional “committees” he commissioned to hammer out solutions and did. I don’t remember Bush scolding me for driving a pickup, eating at McDonald’s, picking on women, or not gladly paying more tax for the government to squander. Recently talking about Iran … (here we go again) … “I reserve all options … my policy is not …” and my favorite …” I don’t bluff.” Whatever happened to “the United States reserves all options” … or … “it’s not the policy of the United States to bluff?”

No, it’s all about him; he is going to tutor us on how to live and his government will implement his vision of revenge for all our atrocities the last 50 years. Baloney!

At a recent NYC fundraiser Obama said, “Around the world … Gandhi, Mandela … what they did was hard. It takes time , it takes more than a single term.”

Can anyone deny the arrogant, narcissistic, and vengeful tenor of this president’s daily rhetoric? I’ll take George Bush any day.
