Purse's return made little girl very happy

| March 27, 2012 7:00 AM

This is to the absolutely wonderful person who turned in the pink “princess” purse on Saturday, March 17, to the Bonner Mall Cinemas. We were almost home on Saturday night after taking our two grandchildren to see Lorax when our granddaughter announced, “I think my purse is still at the movies.”

We had just purchased it that day at the Panhandle Animal Thrift Store and because of that, it was a one of a kind. We tried calling the cinema to no avail, only a recording. We felt the kids had been out long enough and had to count on someone turning it in.

Sunday, we drove back in hopes that the person who sat in the same seat as our granddaughter, was honest and caring. My husband, Don, went into the cinema while we waited in the car and he came out with a huge smile on his face and a pink purse in his hand.

The contents, a plastic Cinderella doll, a McDonald’s toy and $1.25 was all intact. You made a little girl and her grandparents very happy. It turned out she was sick the next day and finding this sure put a huge smile on her sweet but pale face. Thank you so very much!
