SANDPOINT — Do you want to learn more about the region’s products and services?

Head on over to the Greater Sandpoint Chamber of Commerce’s Business Showcase at the Bonner County Fairgrounds on Saturday.

Presented in partnership with Intermax Networks, the showcase is part business fair and part marketplace to highlight new businesses you may not be familiar with as well as old favorites. Admission is free and the event runs from 11 a.m.-3 p.m.

Attendees can enjoy some of the delicious food and beverages. There will be children’s activities, raffles and giveaway items. The grand prize raffle item will be Kindle Fire.

KPND 95.3 will be broadcasting live from the event with updates and interviews with vendors and visitors.

“The Business Showcase is designed to educate consumers to the many exceptional businesses we have here in the Sandpoint area, as well as provide a venue for organizations to present their products and services,” said Barbara Schriber, chair of the Business Development Committee. “It’s the premier event in our community for bringing consumers and businesses together under one roof.”

AmericanWest Bank, Busy Beaver Graphics, Costco, Exercise Institute, ISU Pacific Far West Insurance, Keokee Company, Sanctuary Seconds Thrift Shoppe and The Office Sandpoint, to name just a few, will also be on hand with exceptional service offerings. In all, there will be more than 30 businesses to check out and get to know better.

The presenting sponsor is Intermax Networks, gold sponsor is the SPOT bus and silver sponsors are AAging Better In-Home Care, Frontier Communications, Luther Park at Sandpoint and Sandpoint West Athletic Club.
