Eskridge, Broadsword, Rich deserve support

I support and encourage every reader of this letter to vote for three particular candidates in the upcoming Idaho primary.

Rep. George Eskridge running for re-election, Sen. Joyce Broadsword running for county commissioner and Commissioner Lewie Rich running for re-election are all deserving of holding the offices they seek.

Having been in contact with each of these officials regarding various issues over the past several years, I can attest to the fact that they are responsive whether we are in agreement or disagreement. Each has demonstrated a high level of integrity.

They do not ask whether you are a Republican, a Democrat or an independent. They vote for what they believe is constitutional, fair and in the best interest of their constituents. As an unaffiliated voter, I appreciate that. I don’t want people in office who vote a party line without forethought and regardless of the consequences.

In my experience, George, Joyce and Lewie consider thoughtfully the full import of each decision they make before casting their votes. I hope to see each of their names on the November ballot so I can support them then with my vote!

Please vote for George Eskridge, Joyce Broadsword and Lewie Rich on May 15.
