Kelly will do job the way it should be done

I have watched the downward spiral of the commissioners’ office during the six-year tenure of Lewis Rich’s style of crisis management.

We are remodeling our courthouse without a plan or a budget, just excuses for cost overruns. We just finished building a juvenile detention center with funds we found somewhere else after the Bonner County voters turned down a bond to build it.

All of these issues have occurred while Lewis Rich has been a commissioner; much of that time as chairman.

It is time to replace Lewis Rich with a proven leader.

Cary Kelly has served our county as a marine deputy for 18 years and supervisor for 11 years. Cary distinguished himself as a 28-year career Marine Corps fighter pilot and commander. Cary will get the job done for all of us.
