Let's move forward instead of backward
This spring’s election affords us an opportunity to clean up the mess in our county. As a past commissioner and active homeowner, I know most all of those running both as challengers and incumbents and having worked with them as partners or antagonists.
I would like to offer an opinion. My suggestions are, locally, Cary Kelly, District 3; and Joyce Broadsword, District 1; and state, Shawn Keough, George Eskridge, Eric Anderson and for law enforcement, Sheriff Daryl Wheeler.
In Boise, there is no substitute for seniority and a record, period. Do not be fooled by those suggesting otherwise. For sheriff and county commissioner, the ability to listen, convey civility and demonstrate leadership and common sense is not only essential but vital.
Vote May 15, 2012; this year’s primary election is truly important.
Thanks for reading, let’s move forward, not backward.
