Presnell, Martin lead Bulldogs at district meet
MOSCOW — Sophomore Jared Presnell fired an 86 to lead the Sandpoint boys on Tuesday at the 4A Region 1 golf tournament at the University of Idaho Golf Course.
“Jared was the all-star for us, he played extremely well,” said Sandpoint head coach Tom Tharp, whose team got to play its final round of the season in ideal conditions. “The sun was out, and there wasn’t a cloud in the sky.”
David Currie shot an 89, and Christian Cook a 94 for the Bulldogs, who missed out on state as only the top team and top three individuals advance to state next Monday.
Taylor Martin led the Bulldog girls team with a 125.
