No substitute for experience, seniority

We are very fortunate in Bonner County to have three excellent representatives in Boise running for re-election, especially state Sen. Shawn Keough.

The senator has proven herself to be a hard-working and effective representative for our area.

Shawn’s honesty and integrity have earned her great respect in Boise and this is to the great benefit of her constituents in Bonner County. As a previous writer opined, “there is no substitute for seniority.”

Bonner County is also fortunate that Joyce Broadsword is running for Bonner County commissioner. What a great opportunity we have to make really effective and much needed change on the commission. Joyce has proven herself to be an effective, hard working and honest representative during her years as Idaho state senator. She will bring reason and professionalism to the commission along with a wealth of experience from her years in Boise.
