Bulldogs fare well at regional track meet

LEWISTON — Nikole Alamillo won the discus and shot, Jennie Meulenberg won the long jump and Sydney Foster the 3,200 to lead the Bulldog girls to a first place team lead on Thursday during the first day of the 4A Region 1 track meet in Lewiston.

Shayna Kluver, Lily DeAragon, Kennedy Kindred and Mary Aylward teamed up to with the sprint medley relay, securing a berth at the state meet next weekend.

Sam Levora clocked a personal best 9:46 to win the 3,200, and James Cartwright was second by just .07, as the pair also punched their tickets to state.

Action continues today with the rest of the running and field events.
