Trio are most qualified in election

| May 11, 2012 7:00 AM

I would like to take this opportunity to endorse Sen. Shawn Keough and Reps. George Eskridge and Eric Anderson for re-election in the May 15 primary as the Republican candidates for the November general election.

They have not only superbly represented their constituents in the offices they now hold, they also have a wealth of experience, influence and seniority to these offices that I do not believe has ever been equaled in this part of the state, and as I stated in an earlier letter, to turn them away would be stupid. In fact, it would be total madness.

Folks, do not give up the political wealth these folks have garnered for this part of the state.

Also, I want to express my support for Lewis Rich and Joyce Broadsword in the quest for their respective offices of Bonner County commissioner.

Commissioner Rich’s record speaks for itself and Mrs. Broadsword would bring to the table the same wealth of experience as Shawn, George and Eric to make her, I believe, a much more qualified person for that position than is her opponent.

For those reasons, every one of these folks will get my vote on May 15.
