Documents are amendable, not 'living'

Jason Benell’s letter to the editor (Daily Bee, April 10) denigrated our Founding Fathers and their draft of our Constitution and Bill of Rights.
Mr. Benell uses back-handed compliments and very poorly disguised accusations of these great men as racist, greedy, and self-serving.
As expected from the progressive mindset when these documents don’t serve Mr. Benell’s view then they must be a “living document.”
Wrong, these documents are clear and concise. They are the blueprint that guides our nation.
These documents, sir, were designed not to be “living”, but with the proper process … amendable.
