Broadsword is Dem posing as Republican

| November 1, 2012 7:00 AM

Having listened to Joyce Broadsword constantly describe herself as a conservative Republican, it was interesting to see her glowing endorsement of the Independent state senatorial candidate in District 7, a fellow with a dizzying record of switching party affiliation.

First an independent, then a Democrat for two terms and now an Independent again because he believes a ā€œDā€ behind his name will make it difficult getting elected in North Idaho, he nevertheless decided to leave a party affiliation off his website and ads altogether.

This clearly poses no problem for Broadsword who, with her endorsement, simply tossed Republicans who voted for her in the primary, under the bus. Broadsword and Cantamessa can be considered two peas in a pod ā€” both are deceptive and unwilling to reveal that they are actually Democrats hiding behind another party label in order to get elected.
