Daryl Wheeler is a man of integrity

After retiring from a 32-year career in law enforcement in the state of New Jersey, my wife and I relocated to Clark Fork in 1995. In a short period of time, I became acquainted with Deputy Daryl Wheeler. I was very impressed with Deputy Wheeler’s demeanor, professionalism and concern for the people of Bonner County.

Since becoming sheriff nearly four years ago, Sheriff Wheeler has demonstrated the ability to increase the morale and professionalism of the Bonner County Sheriff’s Office.

Sheriff Daryl Wheeler is a man of high integrity, a leader not a follower. Sheriff Wheeler would not ask his officers to do something that he would not himself do. In my opinion, Sheriff Wheeler is a fine human being. He is trustworthy, honest and above reproach.
