Will of only half of U.S. heard on election night
The will of half of the people was heard on election night. The population centers, the ones mostly dependent on government giveaways, swung the election.
I think the old saying, “those who forget the past are destined to repeat it” comes to mind. History has had many socialist leaders who, in the beginning, were thought of as saviors and then turned out to be dictators.
Some of the things I fear now are: the United Nations firearms treaty being implemented, churches being forced to go along with abortions and gay marriages, and the media fairness doctrine being put back on the table. This would be in direct opposition to the First and Second amendments of the U.S. Constitution.
There will soon be two U.S. Supreme Court openings where Obama will be able to fill them with like-minded judges. That will put the rest of the Constitution in jeopardy. I think the people were conned by an expert. Forty-two years in law enforcement have given me the experience to recognize this.
The people who voted for Obama have brought these bad times upon themselves. The sad part is the rest of us will suffer, too. I think we should follow Obama’s instructions and cling to our God and our guns. I have re-read Psalm 118 and have lowered my flag to half mast in mourning for our republic. Trust God.
