Chamber welcomes Life Choices Pregnancy Center

SANDPOINT — The Greater Sandpoint Chamber of Commerce recently welcomed Life Choices Pregnancy Center to the chamber.

Life Choices Pregnancy Center has been part of the Sandpoint community since 2002, providing free pregnancy tests and education options for women faced with a crisis pregnancy. In 2010, they added free, limited ultrasound imaging through the In-Sight Medical Clinic, managed by Jean Hudlet, R.N. and overseen by medical director Dr. Troy Geyman.

The center offers and “Earn While You Learn” incentive program for mothers and fathers to be, design to equip them for parenthood success. Classes begin with pre=natal care and progress to teach parenting and basic life skills, with specials lessons for the father of the baby. Participation in the program rewards incentive points that can be used to shop in their “Baby & Me Boutique” for gently used clothing and baby furnishings.

In addition to providing support for pregnant women, the center also presents Healthy Relationship & Abstinence education to local schools and youth groups and compassionate care for women who have experienced abortion in their lifetime.

The Life Choices Pregnancy Center & In-Sight Medical Clinic has settled into its new location in the Sand Creek Medical Building, at 502 N. 2nd Avenue. They are a non-profit, 501 c-3 corporation, supported by the generous contributions of individuals, local business and churches.
