Russo leads Bulldogs to sweep of Shadle Park

SPOKANE — Maddie Russo had 14 digs and two aces to lead Sandpoint to a straight set 25-13, 25-21, 25-12 sweep over Shadle Park in nonleague volleyball Wednesday night in Spokane.

Hannah Neumann added seven kills, Maddie Suppiger three blocks and Kennedy Search 13 set assists for the Bulldogs (12-6).

The JV team posted another solid win to remain undefeated on the season, led by Lexi Riley with 20 digs and Amy Shepard with eight kills.

Both the Sandpoint varsity and JV teams will be in action this weekend at the Crossover Classic in Spokane.
