Today's GOP serves only the wealthy

This country was built by middle and poor working class citizens, not by big business, millionaires and banks that only serve for mega-profit.

The Republican party of today serves the wealthy. Legislation has to benefit big business and the wealthy first and foremost, it does not seem to matter to Republicans what is good for the country. Republicans want us to fear government, they only want government to control what they want it to control. No oversight on big business or taxes on mega-profits.

The wealthy should pay their fair share of taxes for the good of the country, make more money, pay more taxes, simple. No cuts in education and programs that benefit the poor and middle class.

Big business and banks are withholding money for small business loans because they do not want the economy to grow while President Obama is in office. They want the Republicans in office to cut their taxes and do away with oversights.

Why is it that Republicans raises heck when diplomats are killed in a foreign country but not when workers are killed on an oil rig in our own waters. Aren’t they both tragic? Could it be that one they can blame President Obama for, the other they would have to blame big business and risks taken for more profit. BP spent more money on ads denying responsibility for the disaster than they spent on clean up.
