MOSCOW — Sierra Scott scored her third goal of the season on an assist from Athena Robinson, helping lead the Bulldogs to a 1-1 tie against the Bears on Tuesday night in 4A North girls soccer in Moscow.

Sandpoint (10-2-4, 3-0-1 4A IEL) head coach Conor Baranski said the Bears came out with a lot more fire than in the two teams’ previous meeting. Scott continues to assert herself in the Bulldogs’ attack after missing much of the season with an injury.

“Moscow was there to compete. It’s great having Sierra back, she adds a lot up top,” said Baranski, who also called defender Jennifer Meulenberg the game’s standout player. “She was the most composed, and made some great tackles.”

The Bulldogs will await the winner of Tuesday’s Lakeland vs. Moscow game, and will host the winner in the 4A Region 1 championship game on Thursday.
