Jon Cantamessa is best choice for job

I am pleased to endorse Jon Cantamessa for State Senate, District 7. As his state senator for the past eight years, I have worked closely with Jon and come to admire his reasonable, ethical, common sense views.

Jon been very active as a county commissioner the past 12 years on many issues important to all Idahoans. Commissioner Cantamessa has chaired the Public Lands Committee for the Idaho Association of Counties for several years and helped to develop and promote the Community Forest Trust Pilot Project intended to gain state management of U.S. Forest Service lands in Idaho. He has operated a small family-owned business for more than 30 years, so Jon understands the challenges facing business in rural Idaho. Jon has conservative values and cherishes private property rights.

His opponent’s record is clear. Jon will not bend to special interest groups.
