Dems are making false promises to get elected

| September 2, 2012 7:00 AM

Several Sandpoint people (especially Bob Wynhausen) continue to place blame for our nations problems on people that they consider to be wealthy.

In many cases this seems to be true but by doing so the common-person is almost always injured more than then anybody else. Giving the rich people’s money (raising taxes) to the government is almost always counterproductive. This is because the rich people control the price of almost everything that is necessary to the common person’s needs. From what we pay for rent to food prices, it is all in the hands of the so-called rich.

For instance, let’s look at rent. When the government raises taxes, on rental property, what happens? The tenant’s rent goes up. Does it go up just enough to cover the tax increase? Heck no! The dwelling owner imagines that the taxes may keep rising so the rent goes up more to cover that possibility.

Everybody should realize that greed controls everything. Is it wrong? Yes, but demonizing the rich is an exercise in futility and the Democrats who use this tactic are placing false promises in peoples’ minds in order to get people elected who have done nothing but try to ruin everything our great country stands for.

Don’t you understand, although they promise change, in this instance it is impossible to deliver any change, and they have devious, ulterior motives?
