Is bid an attempt to get something for nothing?

Are politics rational, honorable, or just a way to earn a paycheck on the public’s dime for doing nothing?

As the president of a homeowners association I wrote or called our commissioners’ office many times about issues in our neighborhood. I never received a phone call or a letter. Zip.

Now this commissioner who replied on the record when asked about these non-responses said, “ I am not going to respond to that,” now wants a second chance. He was defeated this spring by Cary Kelly and has now filed as a write-in candidate. He will not write to those whom he represents but wants you to write in his name so he can earn a salary at your expense again for doing nothing, I urge you to tell him what he has told us, we are not going to respond to that. Beat it.
