Wampus Cats tame Tigers

The Clark Fork Wampus Cats took down Mullan 26-28, 21-25, 25-17, 25-19 and 15-12 in North Star League action Tuesday night at Clark Fork High School.

Mariah Miller posted seven kills, Lyndsie Kiebert added five, Annie Wurm tallied 17 set assists and Heather Wold five digs for the Cats (4-2), who rallied after dropping the first two games.

“We didn’t miss as many serves in the last few games,” said Cats coach Michelle Adams of the turnaround. “That really killed us tonight.”

Kami McKinnon led the Tigers with 10 kills and seven blocks in defeat.
