SPOKANE VALLEY — Junior Sam Levora continued his strong cross country season by finishing second out of 179 runners at the Eric Anderson Invitational on Saturday at Plantes Ferry Park.

Levora clocked a 16:01, just five seconds behind the winner, helping lead the Bulldog boys to a 17th place team finish, 9th in their division.

The Bulldog girls were led by Mikhaela Woodward, who ran a 20:06 to finish 15th overall, and Sydney Foster, who was 35th out of 152 girl runners. The Bulldogs placed 8th overall in the team standings, and 3rd in their division even without two varsity runners who sat out the meet due to injury.

Woodward is now No. 8 on the all-time Sandpoint top 25 list, and continues to close in on breaking 20 minutes.
