Some political claim just boggle the mind

| September 23, 2012 7:00 AM

We do not need Mr. Vulture or Mr. Voucher as our leaders and go back to the very policies that caused this super recession.

More new wars to show the world how tough and exceptional we are, no diplomacy needed, back to the Bush Doctrine and neocon insanity: “our way or the highway, world, we are king of the mountain you are either with us or you are against us.”

Let’s give $4 trilion to $5 trillion in tax cuts to the top earners, increase the defense budget trillions (now at $115,000 per hour) and keep on with deregulation that caused $15 trillion in capital destruction in our economy. Lay off more government workers and scuttle any help for the poor and middle class. They will at least close loopholes and subsidies but can’t tell you which ones until after the election. Get rid of public education, Medicare, Social Security as we know it. Privatize everything to run things more efficiently by paying workers less with little or no benefits. Just can’t wait for my insurance voucher, which will probably be the same amount the insurance companies will raise their premiums in a few years and will be another big giveaway like the drug bill, too.

They do have their base fired up; that’s easy just wave the flag brag about how exceptional America is and how religious you are, say you are against abortion, gays, poor people are lazy and illegal aliens picking vegetables in 120-degree heat for peanuts are bums and they will buy anything!

It boggles the mind.
