Miller, Wurm lead Wampus Cats to sweep of Warriors

CLARK FORK — Mariah Miller had nine kills and four aces to lead Clark Fork to a straight set 25-12, 25-13, 25-22 sweep of Kootenai in North Star League volleyball Tuesday night at Clark Fork High School.

Annie Wurm posted 20 set assists, Heather Wold seven digs and three aces, Lyndsie Kiebert five kills and three digs and Dimi Kailang four kills, three aces and two blocks for the Wampus Cats (8-8, 5-2 NSL).

“They played with heart tonight,” said Cats head coach Michelle Adams. “They played their game and did really well passing.”

Allison Shultz tallied 13 assists, Brie Benson four kills and four aces and Megan McGuire five blocks for the Warriors (2-8, 1-5 NSL) in defeat.

Clark Fork is at Coeur d’Alene Charter on Thursday.
