Obama doesn't have solutions to problems

| September 27, 2012 7:00 AM

Mr. Romney commented, on an illicit tape, that 44 percent of Americans aren’t paying taxes. This means that 44 percent of Americans have incomes of less than $26,000. It’s these Americans and those still working who keep the economy going. Because of high inflation more and more of their income goes for living expenses, meaning less disposable income to bolster the economy.

The illicit tape made of a private conversation, made without Mr. Romney’s knowledge or consent, is dirty politics and smacks of Watergate. This is part of President Obama’s and the Democrat Party’s negative campaign.

President Obama can hardly run on his record in office, it’s reprehensible. President Obama still hasn’t offered any positive proposals for solving America’s problems.

The main problems with the economy are a devalued dollar and high inflation. The dollar value must be stabilized by returning to the gold standard. and inflation must be stopped and reversed. The Federal Reserve Bank could help by raising the prime rate slowly and not implementing programs which encourage inflation. In the past the “Fed” has lowered the prime rate each time the economy started to stabilize, encouraging inflation.
