Currie, Presnell and Faude pace Bulldogs

| April 10, 2013 7:00 AM

MOSCOW — David Currie led the Bulldog golfers with an 89 at the Moscow Invitational on Tuesday at the University of Idaho Golf Course.

Jared Presnell was right behind at 91, Noah Faude shot 92, Christian Cook 96 and Tyson Bird 132 for the Bulldogs, who finished sixth out of 12 teams.

Sandpoint head coach Tom Tharp said the team could have shot much better, which is a good sign for the future.

“We left a ton of strokes on the course,” he said. “Too many three-putts, too many balls in the water and too many out-of-bounds.”

Sandpoint is at the Lake City Invitational on Monday.
