Wahl, Aylward notch wins for Bulldogs at IEL JV meet

COEUR d’ALENE — Lani Wahl won the long jump and triple jump, and Janis Aylward won the shot put and was second in the discus to lead Sandpoint at the Inland Empire League JV track meet on Tuesday in Coeur d’Alene.

Ariana Eisle was second in the pole vault, and Madi Schoening was second and Taylor Lunde third for a Sandpoint long jump sweep, as the girls finished third out of seven teams.

Mark Kennaly won the high jump and Austin Diercks was second in the discus to lead the Bulldog boys, who finished sixth.
