Panhandle State Bank names boardroom in Parker's honor
SANDPOINT — The IMCB Board of Directors has announced that they wished to recognize the long service of retiring Board Chairman Jack Parker by naming its executive boardroom in his honor.
Mr. Parker’s name will be inscribed over the entryway to the Boardroom in the Sandpoint Center. An artist’s rendering of the entrance and meeting space was unveiled at the Director’s Dinner last Tuesday evening.
“Jack has demonstrated tremendous leadership for our bank and our community,” said Curt Hecker, president and CEO of IMCB and CEO of Panhandle State Bank. “We have been fortunate to have had his wisdom and guidance through some of the best and worst financial conditions in history, and our emergence from the Great Recession as a strong and progressive community business bank owes a great deal to his efforts.”
Hecker continued, “Jack has been a part of the Sandpoint Center since it was just an idea. It’s very appropriate that his name will always be associated with this community and business resource.”
Jack Parker has served as chairman of the IMCB board of directors since 1995. He will remain on the board as a director.
