The deepest pockets claimed 'Best' honors

“Community honors local favorites” Really? Shouldn’t it more appropriately read “Daily Bee honors those with deepest pockets?”

When individual business owners are allowed to come in and purchase hundreds of newspapers so they have hundreds of ballots and can vote for themselves I would hardly call that a true and fair reflection of the community’s favorites.

I’m fairly certain this letter won’t be printed, but if it is it might at least give some validation to those more deserving businesses that lost to some not-so-deserving competitors.
