King of the Kongcrete Skate Competition returns to Sandpoint

SANDPOINT — Ready for some ollies, slides, grinds, aerials and other high-flying skateboard tricks?

The city of Sandpoint presents the annual King of the Kongcrete Skate Competition, on Sunday, Aug. 17 starting at noon at the Concrete Lake Skate Park at Travers Park.  

Registration will be at the park from 10 a.m. to noon, and the entry fee is $15. Helmets required for all competitors, with knee, elbow and wrist pads highly recommended.  

Prizes will be awarded to winners in each category.
