Encoder Products Company celebrates long-time workers

SAGLE — With the median length of time the American worker spends with a single employer at just over five years, Encoder Products Company is the kind of place that makes people want to stick around.

During the annual meeting on Tuesday, July 30, Encoder chief executive officer and company founder Bill Watt presented 12 employees with service awards, thanking each individual for their loyalty and dedication to Encoder.

Those honored at the meeting received awards for 10, 15, 20, 25, 30 and 35 years of service.

Encoder Products Company has been manufacturing encoders, a motion feedback device, in the Sandpoint area for 44 years. Encoder Products Company currently employs 140 at its corporate headquarters in Sagle.
