Vandals gear up for second scrimmage today

MOSCOW — The University of Idaho Vandals will be scrimmaging for the second time this camp Saturday at 10 a.m. on the SprinTurf Field east of the Kibbie Dome.

First-year head coach Paul Petrino said the emphasis will be as it has been all fall - continuing to get better every day and to work hard every down.

The Vandals open the 2013 season, their first as an independent since 1962, at North Texas on Aug. 31. The follow with a road trip to Wyoming Sept. 7 before their home opener against Northern Illinois Sept. 14 at 2 p.m. at the Kibbie Dome.
