Tang Soo Do masters to perform at City Beach

SANDPOINT — Fans of martial arts won’t want to miss the Extreme Karate Madness event on Saturday, Aug. 24 at 5:30 p.m. at the City Beach Pavilion.

The exhibition is free and open to the public, and will feature board breaking, weapons forms, and a Tang Soo Do master on hand is going to cut a watermelon on someone’s stomach while wearing a blindfold.

The event wraps up the 2013 Inland Northwest Tang Soo Do summer training camp. Black Bear Tang Soo Do black belts Ted Greenblott and Darren Tetachuk will perform a fighting demonstration, and a host of other masters, from places including Boston and Canada, will also be taking part.
