Why are some scared by free speech, debate?

I am surprised and shocked at the recall efforts of Steve Youngdahl, Lake Pend Oreille School Board chairman.

It would appear that some people are frightened by honest debate and free speech. One of the presenters at the first community meeting was outraged when a google search of armed teachers brought Sandpoint, Idaho, up on the first page of results. He seemed so offended.

In the meantime, of course, an unknown number of criminal sociopaths found the same result and decided that Sandpoint was definitely off the short list. Having the debate itself, is already protecting our children. So, thank you Steve Youngdahl.
