Children's intro to self defense classes offered

SANDPOINT — Sandpoint Taekwondo, located at 218 Main St., is offering introduction to taekwondo, karate, and self-defense classes to any and all kids ages 5 -12 years-old.

Lessons will be offered Tuesday and Thursday during the first two weeks of January, February and March. Lessons run from 3:15- 4 p.m. each day, and cost $49 ($2 discount for city residents), which includes a uniform. Pre-register at Sandpoint Parks and Rec for each month individually.

The registration deadline for the first session is Jan. 6 for class beginning on Jan 7. Sign up early to ensure your spot. The registration deadline is Feb. 3 for the class beginning Feb. 4, and March 3 for the class beginning on March 4.
