SANDPOINT— The Greater Sandpoint Chamber of Commerce has named Taylor & Sons Chevrolet as January’s Business of the Month.

Greg and Laurel Taylor have operated a car dealership in the greater Sandpoint area since 1988 when they purchased the Sandpoint Motor Company and named it the Taylor Parker Motor Company. On Jan. 1, 2011, the Taylor family renamed the dealership Taylor & Sons Chevrolet to better reflect current management and ownership, as well as in anticipation of their move from downtown Sandpoint to Ponderay.

Taylor & Sons Chevrolet officials say their customer benefit focus fuels every decision they make.

“They make every customer feel special and let them know the various and extensive services and products they offer,” said chamber spokesman Mack Deibel.

The dealership’s service department six technicians, who have been with the dealership for more than a combined 70 years, have more than 115 years of combined industry experience.

“When any employee interacts with guests and customers, they have the highest of expectations for their service,” Deibel said. “The guest experience is constantly reviewed and adjusted in all departments so the experience is improved and enhanced.”

Taylor & Sons Chevrolet is involved in many non-profit and charitable organizations. Laurel Taylor has served on the board for the Pend Oreille Arts Council in some capacity for more than 13 years. Among the groups they support are Bulldog athletics, Kinderhaven, Bonner County Homeless Task Force, Ritzville Bronco Athletics and Early Head Start.

In addition, Taylor & Sons has been a Greater Sandpoint Chamber Member for almost 15 years.
