It is Saturday, Feb. 2, and we are enveloped in another toxic inversion. It seems like a daunting problem and one that has many contributors. Every winter the air becomes more acrid with our human pollution.
I have one suggestion that might make a tiny impact. I would request that the city of Sandpoint place “no-idling” signs around the schools, library, post office, supermarkets, etc. I think these signs would help educate and encourage people and very possibly improve our air quality.
