'Yes' vote is right for community, schools

Sandpoint is fortunate to have the highest quality teachers and administrators. I see this firsthand when I see what my children are learning and how they apply the lessons. The teachers put so much energy into not only that the kids are learning the facts, but how to think creatively and apply what they are learning. This result is not an accident. Our teachers apply their time both during schools hours and volunteering their time for special projects.

When it is time to vote to approve the levy, I am voting yes because I see how much our schools do with so little. I see the solid learning foundation our children are building. I see the school administrators being responsible stewards of the funds raised by the levy. I see our investment in education developing the leaders of tomorrow.

Please support the levy on March 12. It is right for our community and it is right for the future of our country.
