'Resistance is futile' as change marches on

| February 17, 2013 6:00 AM

In reference to Michael Hoskinson’s letter (Daily Bee, Feb. 7), he charges that liberal California transplants are “agitating for change” and must be stopped. He said the destruction of freedom and the beginning of “collectivism” begins with benign questions such as, “You want safer streets, don’t you?”

Fifteen years ago, my wife and I moved here from San Francisco, which makes us the most dangerous breed of liberal. We asked about safe streets and clean air to further our collectivist goal and ultimately the complete destruction of Sandpoint by 2015. Resistance is futile.
