Annual rail jam was absolutely wonderful

I wanted to comment of one of the Winter Carnival festivities that took place on Friday, Feb. 15, in the heart of town at Jeff Jones Town Square.

What a pleasure it was to see the community support an event like the 7B Board Shop Rail Jam. To watch each young person ride the rail with the look of skill and success while their parents, siblings, grandparents and friends looked on was absolutely wonderful!

The 7B Board Shop did an incredible job organizing and setting up the rail system, bringing in the snow, setting up the music and sound, and making it a safe and fun environment for all who rode, not to mention the breakdown and cleanup, restoring the street back to normal.

Thank you again 7B Board Shop, and all who were involved, for all the effort, and energy, not to mention the cost, it took to provide the community with such a fun activity for our youth during Winter Carnival!
