Pay it forward, vote for supplemental levy

People are always talking about money and taxes. How can you put a price on education and activities for our young people?

Would we rather they just hang around and play video games or find other activities?

All of us, at some time, had others pass a levy and fund our schools and met our education needs. It is now time, as adults, to pay it forward.

Federal and state funding has dropped for local school districts and has caused a shortfall in the budget. None of us want to see teachers terminated or, heaven forbid, schools closed.

Praying that you will make the right choice and vote “yes” in favor of the levy on March 12.
