Did Jefferson have access to crystal ball?

I’d like you to consider three quotes attributed to Thomas Jefferson, our third president. Mr. Jefferson, in my humble opinion, had more brainpower than all 535 current members of the 113th Congress put together. His accomplishments are astounding.

1. “The democracy will cease to exist when you take away from those who are willing to work and give to those who would not.”

2. “My reading of history convinces me that most bad government results from too much government.”

3. “No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms.”

Did Mr. Jefferson have access to a crystal ball?
