Thunder girls finish busy stretch of games

SANDPOINT — The Kootenai Thunder girls basketball team lost 42-18 recently to the North Idaho Christian School Royals in Mountain Christian League hoops at the Hub in Liberty Lake.

Joyce Blair led the Thunder with 11 points and 5 steals, Carly Johnson added five points and nine rebounds, and Tessa Murray scored two.

In the following game, Johnson scored six points and pulled down 10  boards, Blair added four points and Hali Aller two as the Thunder fell 52-12 to Christian Center Schoo

The Thunder girls then lost to the Pullman Christian School Eagles 58-21at home, led by Blair with eight points and nine rebounds. Johnson added seven points and 10 rebounds, Aller four points and Taryn Osman two points and seven rebounds.

The Thunder ccontinued a busy stretch with a 41-36 loss to Oaks Academy. Blair posted a double-double with 22 points and 10 rebounds, Johnson added four points and nine boards, Aller four points, Taryn Osman three points, Gracie Jones three points and Tessa Murray nine rebounds in defeat.

Finally, the girls wrapped things up with a 32-16 loss to Logos. Blair and Johnson scored six apiece.
