Michelle Anderson receives state honors

| July 18, 2013 7:00 AM

I want to let the town of Sandpoint know about an incredible nurse practitioner we have right here in our small town. Her name is Michelle Anderson, FNP, from Pend Oreille Health Care.

Michelle just received the Idaho state award for clinical excellence for nurse practitioner recently in Las Vegas. She is so deserving of this award. She continually gives so much of herself. She is caring, concerned, considerate and extremely knowledgeable in so many aspects when it comes to the care of her patients.

She also does volunteer work for our area after putting in long office hours. Most of our days end after a days work yet Michelle finds the extra time in herself to continue giving.

Then, she still finds time in her long days to go home and be an incredible mom to her two small children. I have known her for a few years and have yet to hear her complain. She only speaks of how much she loves what she does. I am truly grateful to know this special lady and even more grateful that I get the opportunity to work side by side with her.

Thank you, Michelle, for who you are and for everything you do for all of us.
