Local drag show sells out values
I want to commend the Sandpoint resident for questioning the need for a drag show in our community and thank the Eagles for responding.
Their response cited a nondiscriminatory charter, charitable revenue, and a tourist-based audience. I understand the need for revenue and we must, after all, be tolerant, but at what point do we say “no?” ….
Is this the kind of “entertainment” we want to promote for our community — anything for money?
Perhaps the Eagles might sponsor a “gentlemans’ club” for charity?
Similar to Queen B Productions, it is adult entertainment, but for a different clientele, and tourists won’t have to leave town to spend their money.
I recall a story of someone selling out for 20 pieces of silver - is this what we have become?
You go Eagles, soar high and be proud.
