Dogs unwelcome at Farmin Park

Once again, the farmers market manager is making up excuses for not enforcing the “no dogs” in the park. To say that it is the city’s responsibility to enforce that ordinance is ridiculous. I used to be a vendor at the market years ago. 

The market is responsible for ensuring ordinances are followed.

Also:

1. The market has open food. The Health Department would not approve.

2. I go to other markets, including Moscow and Coeur d’Alene. No dogs in the parks is strictly enforced.

3. Dog feces exist in the middle of Farmin Park. Where we are suppose to be able to sit and children to dance and play?

4. Finally, there are designated dog parks in Sandpoint. Take them there. Stay away from food venues. No dogs in the park and the next time a dog sniffs my crotch or licks me, I’m charging sexual battery.
